Project name: BLOOM

How does your project answer the assignment call? (1 sentence maximum):

We aim to explore the cycle of life and death in nature.,In this cycle, death brings forth new life, a beautiful process we want to experience through interaction.

Project description (250 words maximum):

By projecting a particle effect through a curtain onto a flower, users can see dried out flowers come back to life. We used Leap Motion to capture hand gestures and transform the flowers into constantly moving particles. These particles will dance with the hand movements.

Project Technical Info:

To make the particles feel more lively, we experimented with different settings in the Noise CHOP and ended up going with Simplex 3D.
